North Hill made a walking team to support the Charles River school on Sunday, September 27th. We had 8 Residents along with 2 grand children that joined is for the walk. It was perfect weather and great way to spend the day together as a team!
The Charles River Center held its fifth Annual 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk this year, beginning and ending at The Charles River Center, 59 East Militia Heights Drive. Proceeds benefited over 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities served by The Charles River Center. In 2014, more than 600 runners and walkers participated. All participants and supporters are invited back for next year’s event. You can be sure that North Hill will make another appearance.
Healthy living can be started in a number of ways – including walking. As the days cool down, be sure to get your steps in! The Charles River Center is a private, nonprofit human services agency in Needham, Massachusetts that provides employment and job training, housing, therapeutic day programs, and recreational programs for over 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
